Fishing on Grand Portage Lake Grand Portage Lake is an excellent spot for the fisherman. The 144 acre lake has pan fish, bass, northern pike, walleye and the "Big One," the muskie. It is accessible from Pine Noel's own docks, or from the aluminum boats that are provided with each cabin. (Motors available to rent, in town.)
